Just wanted to pass on the word for any body down in the middle GA area.

The Macon/Twiggs National Dragway was a great place run. I went to Test and Tune last Friday (22 Apr) and had a BLAST!!! I thought it was a well prepped track and everyone was really cool. There were only 2 other bikes (sport bikes) and a bunch of cars. I could have made enough runs to empty my 3.3 gal tank if I wanted to.

It's only an 1/8 mile track but still a place to run whatcha brung!

So, let me know if any of you guys are interested in heading that way.

Yeah man! Come on up this way sometime. I'll try to let you know when I head out there next time.

This track was on the same path a few years back but someone has put a bunch of money into and turned it around. They are still pretty lax with their rules so you don't have a bunch of anal retentive pricks running the place.

On a lighter note. I set a personal best of 8.74 sec @ 79mph in the 1/8th. Unfortunately, because it was "Free Test and Tune" they weren't handing out slips. So, I don't know the specifics on my passes.

But, I do know I shaved almost 3/10 sec off my previous PB. I'm pretty sure my launch is getting better. I have to give credit to a couple of crotch rocket guys that helped me with my Launch.

Now if only I could break the 80mph barrier in the 1/8th!!!
