View Full Version : Any deals for wire wheels out there?

My 93 sportster needs some wire wheels BAD! The stock mag wheels just won't work for the look I'm going for. I'd like a 60 or 80 spoke wheel set, but anything will work at this point.

Have you guys heard of any online deals or anything lately? Jirehcycles.com has some softail wheels on sale for 139ea, but nothing for my bike. :(

Bent the rim on my wire wheel awhile back and the one thing I figured out was if the price was cheap (less then $200) then it was a wide glide wheel and couldn't use it. For some reason the narrow glide front wire wheels always seem to cost $300 or better. I finally found a rim at jirehs and used my old hub and spokes to fix mine. Just be careful and watch to make sure which it is, narrow or wide glide. Roger
