2nd June 2006, 23:01
Just finished installing my new led radiant 2.25 puckz. I can't wait till the kiddies go to bed so I can finish the wiring of my new lights. Here it is. http://images1.snapfish.com/346%3C4%3B%3A67%7Ffp346%3Enu%3D3263%3E2%3C3%3E9%3C 5%3EWSNRCG%3D3233799498%3C75nu0mrj

Here is the closeup. I had to drop the swingarm to get to the back and to finnish the wiring. http://images1.snapfish.com/346%3C4%3B%3A67%7Ffp342%3Enu%3D3263%3E2%3C3%3E9%3C 5%3EWSNRCG%3D3233799498%3B7%3Cnu0mrj

I thought it had a triple set of turnsignals on either side of it last time you showed us????:dunno

The original photo was of all the puckz offered by radiantz. I only intended to put on one. The little ones are typically used as turn signals on saddlebags. If you look closely, you can see that each strut has two led's in the tail end of them anyway. Those should be enough to see since they are supposed to be very bright.

Nice and clean:banana great touch and a good eye for detail you have R.

BTW- you ready too tear up the Dragon yet? Maybe meet up with the Virgina Boys/ Girls sometime next month or in Aug.

It is on my todo list this year. I should be riding again this week. just have to button up the holes now. Engine is done, paint is done for now(need to color sand but that will wait because it is too much work) and today I will finish the wiring and figure out where the ignition is moving to. You getting used to the subtle changes of the raked trees??? I know you already got used to the good looks.

The new trees are great, been loving the new look. Took me about 1 hr to get used to the handling differences, bike rides like it's on a rail. Only problem i haven't ridden since monday, been working 10-12 hrs this week.
(sucks being self employed).:roflblack :shhhh

What tires did you get X. Did you try the fit a 150 trick yet. Looks really cool when you are done but takes some careful spacing. Finally took the time to center up my rear brake before I ruin it again.

No new tires yet, if i do the 150 mod i would like to go with a 18" wheel and put a lower profile tire on. :D

BTW- new tires will be on order before i head back to the Dragon.:shhhh Mostly a new set of Venoms front and rear.

My brain saw tires but your comment earlier said trees. Gues I had cranial flatulence. I finished the soldering and now I just have to hook up the wires. Going to go put on the new exhaust next. Pretty excited to see the finished product. really want to change to dif. bars but I won't buy till I am certain because I am not looking forward to rewiring the bars again. You know what a PITA(finally figured this comp speak acronym out) that is.

18" rear is really nice. Wish I new then what I know now. But then again, my swingarm would be 2 inches longer too. I will buy a 150/70 if I can find one next time. most likely I will have to get 80 but no 90 ever again. Don't like that look.

Hey Ralph,

Our you still planning on using the fairing?

4th June 2006, 14:43
The fairing is occupying a spot on the wall for now. Way use it in the future but for now it hangs and grows dusty.
