It's about time. I think we were the only state remaining in the country with the larger tags.

It was probably to save money with less metal being used. I'm sure they still don't give a crap about what we want!:wonderlan

What tags is you talkin' 'bout?

License plates are currently 4.5" X 8.5"

I understand they will be phasing in the new ones around October.

Geez, that seems like an odd size. Where do you find a license plate frame to fit 'em.:laugh:laugh

You don't that is the problem.
People cut them down or photo copy them at 80% risking a ticket.
Can't wait to get my new one so it will fit in the tag bracket I have waiting for it. :banadanc

Did you get your new tag?

I went to the MVA, spent the $20, and traded in my old one for this new one. Still running an old, chopped tag on my Sportster (for now).

Looks good, They were pretty freaking huge. I still had to chop my PA one like crazy to get it in my LP frame. Probably one reason I'm not going for a vanity plate...

Yea, I thought yours looked mighty small. What tag fits your LP frame without chopping?

Hey, that's a good idea!! :laugh

Only problem is Maryland wants all tags returned to them. Big fines if we don't.
