Very cool! I stopped collecting Hot Wheels a few years ago, but I still have a handful of mint redlines that I hung on to. Ones that "replaced" the ones I had and destroyed as a kid. :D

TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURE.
SO, WHAT DO YOU SEE?
CHECK THE EXPLANATION BELOW.
YOU'LL FIND THIS VERY INTERESTING.
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j67/doodlebonez/untitled.jpg
You saw a couple in an intimate pose, right?
Interestingly, research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such a scenario.
What they WILL see, however, is the nine dolphins in the picture!
So, I guess we've already proven you're not a young innocent child... now... If it's hard for you to find the dolphins within 6 seconds, your mind is indeed corrupted and you probably need help!
Ok, here's help.... look at the space between her right arm and her head, the tail is on her neck, follow it up. look at her left hip, follow the shaded part down, it's another one, and on his shoulder..... see them now?

any cool history on that car? tell, do tell.
my buddy finished his restoration of a 66 ss last year. 396 4peed with plenum induction. that car is brutally fast and with period correct wheels and brakes is scary to think if he needs to make a panic stop.

Bruce and I worked at Sutliff at the same time, he ran the dyno most of the time. He built the car and we would tune it at night on the dyno after shop hours, I was also building engines for a friend with a 55 nomad wagon he ran, called "Bagpipes", so some nights we had them both in the shop on the dyno, made for a damn noisey shop.
I remember one night Bruce was tuning USA-1 and decided to take it out on Paxton St in Hbg to try it out, didn't take long for the law to show up, but we already had it back on the dyno and chained down again till they got there.
Car was fast, Bruce did a lot of exhibition meets to help pay the bills. If I remember, car started out as a 427 then ended up as a 454, after the Chevelle I think he bult a corvette with a big block and ran it for awhile.
After that he was tied up with a guy named Costello and they ran a 289 Cobra with some success, team was called Costello and Larson.
I think Bruce still has or knows where the Chevelle is, but I'm not sure.

Gary, I saw a miniature motor like that one time at the SEMA show or something, and the guy had a tach on it and the thing turned like 15K RPM or something insane. I have to find a pic of that one. It was tiny, not like this, but it too was a work of art.

An old buddy of mine had a grandfather with some antique steam engines. I got to see them run a few times. I remember one that did something like 0.6667 RPMs :D There's a big old steam engine show near here in Caledonia NY (I think) that I used to go to when I was a kid, I gotta go back someday I loved those old engines.

That's a three cylinder Triumph Trident, made by Triumph from around 1969 to 1975 or so. Or, am I mistaken and that has 4 cylinders? Sorry, I thought it was a 3 cyl. Hmmm...

It looks like a four, so I'm not sure what the story is on that one. I think Triumph cobbled together a four prototype in the 70s but never produced it. It could be one of those or a custom job. Hmmm is right.
