That sucks! There is also a section on the Forum where you can report lost bikes.

Adrian isn't too big. Chances are someone knows where it's at. There are only so many thieving scumbags in a small town. I strongly recommend that you put up fliers offering a reward. Hopefully you can find it before it's in pieces at KC.

That does suck!!! Hope you recover it... But... If it was possibly stolen to order, chances are that it is long gone or in pieces already. Organized crime, even in a small town, works quick. The bike could be dis-assembled and parts sent anywhere in a matter of hours.

Not trying to dis-illusion you or make light of the theft of the scoot, but it does happen... Vanished without a trace...

These shots were taken before the powder coat work was done, but you get the idea.

We now have a 4 camera security system installed, so if this crap ever happens again, we got 'em.

This sucks. I think putting fliers at every bike shop is a good idea. Good luck.

I,ve got a camera and recorder watching my bike too. Just a thought, I also use a driveway alert gizmo. If somebody wakes me up in the middle of the night he will get a very unpleasent surprise.

That's the problem with Sportsters. Too light!!!!

2 big guys can pick it up and throw it into a truck.

The one I never thought of until someone mentioned it was using 2x4's throught the rims. (solid rims are a security benefit)

4 guys can walk off with a bike easily like that.

Bolt them babies down to something. Make them work to get it!!!!

My grandparents used to live in Adrian. I spent many summers there as a kid. I don't think they took it though. I'll keep an eye out and spread the word on the KS side of the line.

Why does the crap happen to the good guys?

Too bad we don't always get to see Karma do her thing.

Insurance will cover what is still owed, but they decide value is what the average 883l sold for, in my area, both to dealers and public,in the past year. With the economy down, prices were down, and I expect the offer to be down as well. KBB says $3745.
Sig's good, Sam. No Drama.

Good luck with the insurance. I'm glad to hear it's not a total loss.

I've walked the streets, swap meets, watched EBAY, Craigslist, etc. So far, no joy. Will send the ins package in today.
I was hopeful...
more time that goes by, the farther away it is.
I wanna slap 'em so hard their unborn children will come out well behaved!
