South Texas really needed this rain and to continue my earlier blog posts, riding in the rain becomes easier each day you do it. I pulled into the bike parking lot on campus and there were only 2 scooters and my Sporty. One of the custodians commented "you're hardcore man!". You damn skippy I'm hardcore.

Rain does separate the motorcyclist from everyone else. I tend not to avoid rain (usually won't head out for a leisurely ride in it though). There have been times when I truly enjoyed the ride in the rain.

Painted lines are what usually "remind" me that extra care is needed.

I'm the same way. I'll ride in it if I have to and it doesn't bother me. If its the weekend and its raining I usually stay home (as long as I have enough smokes). But this weekend was different. While it wasn't raining, it an on and off drizzle. And did my usual weekend errands.

Rain riding? good on you as long as you take care on turns and corners.
That front wheel slip you had I bet was a eye opener I have only had that happen once, ever had a bike aquaplane on you yet, that is clean under pants time!
lots of rain over here in UK at moment so out with the water proofs.
