So I went camping for the weekend at the Arrow Rock State Park.

Here's some pictures:

The boyhood home of General Pershing. My least favorite subject in school was history. But as I've started touring the country on my Sportster I've found myself developing an interest in it. This is one of the sights that my friend wanted to see... I had no idea who this guy was! I learned a lot.



Slater, Missouri, the boyhood home of Steve McQueen. We rolled in here at about 8:30 in the morning looking for a place for breakfast and coffee. Asked someone on the street where to go and she said 'The Pharmacy'. We were like.. 'the pharmacy!??!'. But sure enough, you walk into the city pharmacy and it was a flashback in time. It was filled with the townfolk sitting around talking about crops and stuff like that.

Coffee was 50 cents, 30 cents for a pop! For $3.75 I got 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast! While we were sitting there one of the townfolk came over to talk to us and ask us where we were from and where we were goin
