My mother has been gone for 6 years now and I'm still struggling with something. And it's something a little selfish.

We respected her wishes and she was cremated and the ashes were scattered.

What I'm struggling with, is that she isn't "anywhere".
Even if I know that she is everywhere and her Spirit is always with me, there is no physical place where she is.
There is no "memorial" for her.
No tomb where I can go "see" her.
Nowhere I can talk to her or give her flowers on her birthday.
Nowhere where I can introduce her to her grand-daughter.

And I know it's selfish and silly but it makes me wonder about my wish to be cremated too.

Luke it's hard when you have no "place to go to see them "
Both of my parents ashs were scattered at sea.
I still keep thinking about them every now and again.
My sister has some large pictures of mom and dad and she talks to them and keeps flowers near by.
