My wife will be freaking out soon

Posted 27th February 2011 at 16:16 by Quebeker (My (useless) blog.)

Her Mom had a tumor taken out of her head 7 weeks ago.

Her Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer.

And now this morning I found 2 lumps under my left armpit. There is no redness or heads on them. Doesnt hurt or itch. But it does make me wonder about my sore left breast.

For the past few months, my left nipple has been really sore and very sensitive. It feels like there is a thumbtack under the breast. If I put my hand on my left chest and push, it feels like...

Another kick in the teeth

OK. You guys know about my Mother-in-law, Reta, with the brain surgery she just went through.
Now there's more.

A couple months ago, my Father-in-law, Ray, got a bad cold that didnt want to go away.
Checked with the doctor and it was diagnosed as a pneumonia. That didnt want to go away either.
He was sent for X-Rays.
There's a shadow on one of his lungs.
More tests. He got the results the day before his wife's surgery and said it was scar tissue...

We're a tad nervous

Posted 25th October 2010 at 19:24 by Quebeker (My (useless) blog.)

We're a tad nervous around here but not as much as my Mother-in-Law.

She's been having headaches and migraines much worse than usual in the past couple weeks. So last week she went to see Doc and he sent her for a CAT scan.

Yep, there is something in her head that shouldnt be there, dont know what yet.
Going for an MRI next week or the week after.

They say...

They say that behind every great man, there is a great woman.
But there is a great woman even behind an idiot like me.

father of a new born

Posted 19th June 2010 at 13:03 by Quebeker (My (useless) blog.)

Hopefully I wont sound too much as a bad father.

I'm not saying it is different from how it was when Eva-Mae was born but it is different from the way it is with her now.

I would die or kill for both Eva-Mae and Lucas but there isn't a bond between Lucas and I like there is between Eva-Mae and me.

It's still only nature at this point, I understand that. But even if I can wash him, comfort him or feed him, (Melinda stopped breastfeeding him and we switched...
