I've been home for 9 days now and I notice this one thing Melinda does and I can't take it anymore.

Let's say she says "Can you get me this?"
Me: "Where is it?"
Her: "Over there"
Me: "??? Where the is over there?
Over there can be anywhere."

Or
Her: "Can you get me this?"
Me: "Where is it?"
Her: "In the drawer."
Me: "??? Do you know how many drawers there are in this house? 42!"

Or she tells me where (she thinks) it is and then get mad when I don't see it. Except it was not there.

Yep that can be pretty frustrating. Time to get back on the road.

Keep it in perspective. Be glad those are your frustrations and problems.

One problem with living on my own...no one else to blame except myself!

Just a thought here.....good communication in a relationship is always important ( or so I've heard ) instead of letting it build you might express your concerns .....using I statements of course.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this: The older you get, and the longer you stay together, the worse it gets.

My SWMBO forgets what things are called, so she calls them ... things.
As in, "Can you get me the THING?"

Now I've given up -- I just go get her
SOMETHING. She says I'm being passive-aggressive (whatever THAT's supposed to mean!)

Four words every successful married man knows:
    -"What?"
    -"Oh"
    -"Right"
    -"Sorry...."
