Wow, talk about a thread totally bombing. Zero replies. I guess I should stop posting late at night from West Coast USA.
I think this little computer of mine will serve me well on the road. I'm still wrestling with how to configure it properly, get all my data loaded, and protect myself in the various wireless ecosystems I will encounter on the road.

I sure hope that means folks are getting out there and riding. It seems to me that there was a lot more activity going on when I joined a year ago, but that might be my imagination.
Then again, perhaps we will see an upswing of technical questions once the winter project rubber hits the road.

I'm getting closer and closer to getting my bike setup for Adventure Touring.
I still haven't decided where I will be going. Once choice is to head across the country. Another is to head north into British Columbia then loop around through the Rockies.
Last night I mounted the Mutazu Hard Trunk. This was in addition to the new Rifle Fairing. I already had Mutazu Hard Bags...

Thank Goodness. I've had 2 windshields on this bike and neither worked well.

When I started this blog I thought I would be writing about my experiences learning about motorcycle mechanics, commenting on riding techniques, and the like.
As it turns out, I got past most of my big mechanical hurdles before the blog was live. No doubt more will come along, but for now I am happy to have successfully messed with, repaired, and serviced my bike with the help of xlforum members.
What I didn't expect, was to find myself drawn back to thinking about...
