From there we rode to Keytesville, MO to visit the monument to General Sterling Price

I was born in Connecticut and lived in the North East part of the country so I am definitely considered a Yankee by my traveling companion. He's a true Southern Boy who has very differing views about The Civil War than I do.

Since moving to Missouri I've started learning more about the other side of things and have come to see that not everything is black and white.. or is that...

My Weekend Camping Trip - Arrow Rock, MO

So I went camping for the weekend at the Arrow Rock State Park.

The boyhood home of General Pershing. My least favorite subject in school was history. But as I've started touring the country on my Sportster I've found myself developing an interest in it. This is one of the sights that my friend wanted...
