Mystery drip off rear brake cylinder

Fluid is dripping off the rear brake cylinder. Mechanic tried twice to locate/tighten and then replaced the cylinder and hose, still dripping. I am wondering how it can still be dripping. Is it possible there is a fluid leak higher up dripping ONTO the brake cylinder?

At my wits end over this.

first of all what kind of fluid

I thought brake, mechanic thought brake, on my finger it’s black on a paper towel it’s more clear like brake fluid. I check the brake fluid level, but the drips are not a leak, so I dont see the level change. I took a picture the first time, am unsure I can post a photo as non-paying member

You need to host the picture on a picture hosting site - get the [IMG] coded link and paste that into your post editing here - the picture will show up in the post...

Could be coming from the left rear shock.
