Idle speed screw thread size

What please is the thread size of the CV idle speed adjustment screw?

Mine just left to join all it's cousins in the dark recesses of my shop.

Seems to be metric, maybe a M4 or M6 , just go to hardware store a purchase some, they are cheap... then come back and tell us what size it is, because I searched the internet all around for it and there is no info about it, only the part number P-N 27130-90

If you are talking about the idle screw (not idle mixture) I haven't found it yet.
I measured mine at .154" with a 36 TPI (36 matches to a #8 screw)
But the standard OD on a #8 is .164".
I don't have a metric scale but converting I get 3.9116mm.
So I don't have an answer, just relaying what I measured.
But the carb was made in Japan, most likely metric.
I'd try a M4 x 0.7 (standard OD is .157")

Seems we came to about the same conclusion.

It's definitely an M4. I replaced mine with a stainless steel one. I used a 25mm cheesehead screw, and shortened it to 21½mm long.

That's metric coarse thread: 0.7mm pitch.

Scrounging through some parts drawers I found an extended adjuster screw
and never did bother measuring so still don't know what size it is. :dunno.
