It been our understanding the stock breather bolts with the small, restrictive hole on the head end was done so to increase pressure to aid in scavenging.

So
On a dyno test,2 sets of breather bolts on hand for a back to back and see what difference if any ?
I might attempt that next time I test !

It is my belief that Aaron has already beat that horse to death - at least twice.

Possibly !!!

Has anyone tried the XR "Oil Deflector plate" in an XL case?
Looks like it may be similar to a windage tray or oil scraper.

In the service manual:
XR 1200X: Remove three screws (6) and oil deflector plate

Maybe a crank scraper ?

Matter of fact, why does oil 'drip' from ALL Sportsters whether out the vent or in the A/C?

Just oil mist collecting itself in one spot.

Before and after krankvent.

Thanks for posting! Always nice to find another 5hp for cheap just by fixing the breathers.

Right, but mine never dripped, ever. Zero oil ever came out my breathers, as shown with pictures in previous posts. But some do drip, which I would consider unacceptable but sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.
