Stu, I've considered running the type of bags that use a strap across the fender but am concerned about the fender's paint being scuffed and damaged. Maybe I'm worried about nothing, but does this method of mounting concern you at all?

Jzink0883, thanks for those part numbers. As usual, H-D accessories aren't cheap but there's something to be said about yanking a part out of the box and having it bolt right on with no hassle.
