I'd just be careful not to lug the engine or go above 80mph for the first few hundred miles.

Check the tires. If they're original replace them. Also check all rubber parts for cracking, brittleness, etc.

Check out your circuit breakers (mostly for corrosion) under the seat and mounted to the fender.

I've always thought the vibration rumors were exaggerated. It's usually caused by worn out riser bushings.

Its kind of hidden under the wiring harness but, it should be there. Might have just lost the stem.
