Default Air filter cover and back plate

For the experts, will this work with a tillotson on a 69?

should work just fine, adapting a backplate from a Bendix caeb will work too, just need to close off a vent hole.

the back plate is the tillotson unit.
the bendix back doesnt work correct. it lacks the notch for tilly choke lever clearance.

the cover may or may not work.
all bikes use the same cover EXCEPT 66-69 ch. those bike use a cover with a notch (apprx 3/4" deep 3" long) in the bottom edge to clear the mag.

i think that setup with the baffle is 71.

Thanks DR. I appreciate the info, if the price stays low then it may be worth a gamble.
