Noobster with a new Nightster.
Hey all. I'm Dave. Just bought an 11 Nightster. New with 4 miles on it. Been riding the shit out of that little rocket. LOTS OF FUN. I'll be one of those annoying guys with a thousand questions on what I can and can't do!! Or just straight mod questions. Look forward to learning from the pros.

Txn, what did you do with your old handlebars and cables?
I don't care what people say about ShortShots, they look so right on the black Sportsters.

Handlebars got bent and thrown away but still have the cables. Needing some? |

Did you have to buy new cables when you put those handlebars on, or were the stock ones long enough?

No, I had done my research on here and on biltwell's website and you DO NOT need new cables. The only thing I had to do was remove the p-clamp that holds the brake line to the triple tree and slightly straighten the hard part of the brake line. I love these bars!
