Default Airtech air cleaner cover

I've never really liked the 04+ cover, but used old style pieces tend to be ratty chrome or really sloppy powder jobs. Anybody have any experience with the HDAFC1 oval cover from Airtech? Or better yet, anybody have a CF cover made by them?

I can't exactly tell much from this

I've never heard anything bad about Airtech, but I've also not heard much about them in general.

I have a couple of their “sport” front fenders, nice quality, and priced quite reasonably. Less than a third of what I paid for the MoCo fender about 15 years ago. Have no reservations and would order from them again.

Good to hear. I will probably continue to run the open element most of the time, but those look like a much nicer way to cover it when the desire is there than the big chrome blob that came with it. Probably a good bit lighter too.

I was amazed at the lightness and rigidity in the fenders. I think they also offer carbon fiber as well.

Yeah, I like my open element look enough I don’t know that I want to spend the extra for some fancy carbon fiber only to pull it back off half the time. Though maybe it’d sway me enough to just leave it on there. I have not heard of anybody’s experiences with their CF work, but if they do good fiberglass, I can’t imagine their carbon is bad. It would save me the trouble of painting the fiberglass too.
