What year frame did you use and other parts you used. I have a early 84 that I want to change over and get rid of my hardtail after market frame.. Thanks

I bought an 1996 evo frame. The rear and lower front motor mount work. I made a top mount from an ironhead mount and the evo mount. I have pics posted on this discussion. I am running a sealed bearing hub. Using stock spacers and a flat rear sprocket.

I think the newer frame is a much better choice (stiffer/stronger).
