Ive been using Wellington boots for 50 years or so. They have good wide boots. (up to 3w) The current pair I have now were bought in 2000, and have been re-souled in 2010.
I also have GEO over shoes that fit over the boots when it is nasty weather.

The Stylmartin Ace is my current favorite riding boots. Very comfortable.
