So, after patting ourselves on the back with what we had achieved we decided to drop one race. It didn't carry Championship points so there was no good reason I could think of to risk doing something silly.
Ah. The little things.
Skipping that race meant the engine had more time to cool down. I wasn't worried about it as it's normally a willing starter when it's warm enough.
IWe were all set to go as soon as the 2 minute warning went off and I dropped down on to the seat with the engine spinning over nicely.
Chuff, Chuff, Chuff, Chuff, .......Nothing.
Te starter reset switch tripped. Rest it. It tripped again. And then again and again.
We pushed over to Milto's electric rollers and onto there.
Trip, trip, trip,

Off the rollers and we push for all we are worth. I know I have one shot at it and probably one only.

There comes a time in your life when you realise your just too old to be push starting a Meth burning sidecar in pit lane. We did give it a good shot. I haven't been going to the gym for the last 15 months for nothing.

An admission here. I did lose my sense of humor as soon as I realized it wasn't going to start. A mate told me later he could hear me yelling 50 yards away even though I had my helmet on. It was a full ten minutes before anyone would come over to talk to me.
For that I apologize. Bad sportsmanship there.

But at the end of the day we had two seconds and a fourth place and we lapped under 45 seconds. Not bad for a blind guy and a newbies on a Massey Davidson.

getting ready for the Lord of the Lake. We need to try and win that one.
