Default Bylaw a joke!

well, I got nailed with it in fall.....fighting it in April, they moved the sensor 3x to get a high reading.....another things that tics me is a jap bike can go 100db, while a v-twin is 96.....I have a harley so what they are in fact saying is I can be louder if I ride a certain kind of bike....DISCRIMATORY!!!!...this law makes no sense, my lawn mower does 110db

I have a set of electronic shooting muffs that electrically cut off outside sounds above a certain limit. They are great cause you can hear conversations, but not gun shots.

Just for discussion sake I note that they kick in at 85db to prevent hearing damage....

isn't ALL of BC under the same noise restrictions? I don't know if I can get my V&H pipes down to that. Even with Quiet Baffles. Well, sort of. I tossed out the fibreglass wrap. So, I guess they are semi-quiet baffles now.

I'm glad Calgary hasn't passed such a thing.
