Default Hammer 1250 Impact Headwork & A/C

Here are the Dyno Results for my 2004 XL883 - 1250 Hammer Conversion. Bike has the following:

1. 1250 Jugs
2. Impact Headwork on 883 Heads
3. Impact A/C with Stock Cover
4. Daytona Twin Tec ignition
5. Bassani Road Rage II B1 Power Exhaust
6. Stock 1200 "W" Cams

Everything Else Is Stock.

These are factory pro dyno results (No Inertia Dyno) which are supposed to be 10 - 20% lower than other Dyno's which have inertia. So according to the Factory Pro info final figures would be 74 -80 HP and 85 - 90 TQ. Someone else can chime in here whether or not this is accurate or not.

Tuner tuned for every throttle position. He also said I may want to try a 42 jet over the 45. He did change the main jet to a 200 from a 180. Let me know what you guys think. Any suggestions for changes...overall pretty please with how the bike feels. Front end wants to pull up in almost every gear...

Those numbers are very odd.

There is also no way it needs a 200 main jet unless you have other issues.

Lets have a look at the needle in the carb as I have seen some Chinese needles that could not be jetted around.
I would also like to see the timing map.

Also run a compression test please.

The carb has a CV Performance needle in it. I will try to do a compression test this weekend and let you know what it says.

I trust the guy who tuned the bike. Maybe the only way to get a comparable reading as to what the bike is putting out is to bring the bike to someone with a Dynojet Dyno and have them do a few pulls to see what their dyno reads.

You can look in the SE catalog and the Hp/Tq numbers look similar to the SE 1200 conversion kits.

My Stage I 1200 with the CV would rip off 73-74 HP PULLS all day long

The build is basically a stage 1 1250.

I think its just the Dyno that was used....it may not be reading properly....but the air to fuel line I think looks good at the bottom of the chart....He did use a sniffer in the pipe....who knows....I will probably go have someone do some pulls on another dyno and compare.

Its definitely a lot faster than my wifes stage 1 2006 sportster low.
