Knuckleworks.com in California, can weld anything up, and expert work. You would need to contact Phil, and see if he does XL's, but I have had a few BT's done, and he is not cheap, but does expert work. He even cast the old LH cases for BT's, so his shop is not a fly by night shop, and has been in business since about 1977. No, I am not a stock holder, although I should be, as much as I have spent over the years. I do my own welding, but big exploded cases require much more time than I have to do them right.

thanks, I talked to an indie shop that suggested a guy that lives about 80 miles from me see what's up with him before I contact knuckleworks. case isn't actually all that bad. I spent the last few house filing away the outside and exposed the real damage is pretty damn small.
if I hadn't been an idiot and ground that channel into it, the cracks would barely be noticeable.

Default From what i can see in the pics you posted

Looks repairable none of the cracks go to the case parting seam correct? Thats a good thing not theres any thing good about a tranny explosion that jacks your cases up but it could definitely be worse

I would let them look at it first. The welder can grind out what he requires before doing any work.
