I am re-assembling my 1969 xlch restoration in my finished basement so that when I am not working on it I can sit on the sofa and look at it!

Weather permitting, I like to pull her out of the shed and stare at the sun glisten off her.

Sometimes i sit on the shop floor beside my bike and just look at it. After a while i move to the other side. I just love that damned thing. And yes, i did hug it once.

Yeah, my wife looks out the garage window and just shakes her head once every hour or so. I like to sit in a chair and drink beer and imagine.

You're all not alone.

I love looking at these rolling pieces of art. I just can't get enough.

It's hard not to stare. During the winter I pull her out to the middle of the garage once a week just to wipe things off, make sure everything is clean and yes, just stare.

Been lucky enough to go for a few rides so far this winter. Snow on the ground now and highs in the teens over the last several days. Hoping for better weather in the next few weeks so I can get that next ride logged. Spring can't come soon enough!
