Yeah... I do it too... fiddle with the lights and make sure the battery is up to snuff.. maybe wipe something down.. think about what I would change ... or where I would ride if it wasn't so cold..

I went and dug out my Triumph Manuals.. it times to start another project... I got three bikes two in part and another that should come apart .. all hardtail frames.. one lonely looking Bonnie engine.. I'll bring that back from the storage unit and start cleaning and buffing.. hope my Sportster doesn't get jealous..

JJ..

Guilty as charged. Sometimes I'll just pull the old Ironhead out in the back yard, pull up a chair on the patio, and look at it while I enjoy a cool one. That usually leads to some polishing or tinkering...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it (especially if you don't know what you're doing). Most Sportster problems are owner-induced.

Default Yep

Every evening I drink beer and smoke in the garage and look at my bike. How can I not admire this thing?

As I keep my bike in my kitchen, and am rebuilding the engine in my living room, I often stare at the bike. The best is I have a magnetic can cozy, so I often sit on the bike when sittin back watchin the boob tube, with a cold beverage stuck to the tank.

i got this pic of mine blown up poster size so i can frame it and hang it on the living room wall right above the TV - so I can pretend that I am being sociable and watching the box with 'er indoors but really be sitting there drooling over the Ironhead.

Default Stare

I'm lucky...I have mine in the living room of the apartment...so I can stare all I want. I look at it and then next thing ya know I have grease on my hands. I think...wonder what that would look like?....or how bout trying this...and then the wrenches come out.
