I've often thought about bikes with the toolbag there. Not only smacking into the fender but rubbing on the fork stanchions. Maybe ok when dry but in wet/ dirty conditions there could be a fine grit as well.

I had an 800 Suz. Marauder with the toolbag mounted there and it went thru the clearcoat into the paint (fender was plastic, so it didn't dent). I thought maybe because that bike had inverted forks?

At the gas station today, I actually had a second person comment on how they liked my bike. (The first was a couple months ago)

My 2 brothers were in town for my nephew's wedding yesterday, today I rode over to my sister's for a breakfast get together and they went out and looked at it. One lives in Montana and the other lives in California. They couldn't believe it has 30,000 miles on it and it's 12 years old. They know how I ride and said it's just too nice.

I rode the bike home after assembling the engine and putting it in today, so feeling like celebrating I stopped at the corner Quick mart and picked up a six-pack and while in line to pay got on the phone and ordered a Pizza.. when it was delivered the delivery guy stopped and was taking pics on the way up my porch and commented on my nice old Harley .. yea I love the attention she gets..
