Sir Arthur C Clarke was an eminent anti soundite proponent. As weird M. Ireeman can be, when too much Irish liquor fog his brain, he's still writing very sensed phrases.

As an avid reader of sci fi over the last 50+ years, I somehow forgot or overlooked that one. However, I do think, "bow ties are cool".

My “other motorcycle” with a 7 gallon tank, tests my ass!

My 1996, XL1200 gets around 43 MPG driving backroads. I’ll get gas every 100 miles to play it safe. It sucks to be looking for a gas station. I have gone about 145 miles on the Maine turnpike, but I was sweating the next gas stop.

At my age emptying my bladder takes priority over filling my gas tank. Depending on the time of day, how many cups of coffee I've had (and I always get another cup at every pit stop) and how long ago I took my fluid pill for my blood pressure, I usually stop every hour or so for coffee and gas. My back thanks me for it, also. So, I'm never at risk for emptying my 3.3 gallon gas tank.
