rotating engine by hand
After a serious car accident 14 months ago left me with a C2 tetraplegia spinal cord injury, I've got the courage and hand movement now to finish off installing JH570 cams (I may never ride my bike again but I want to hear what it sounds like!). Before the accident I had removed rocker boxes, etc. and was about to remove the cam cover. The cam cover is removed now and I want to rotate the engine to line up the cam timing marks. What is the easiest way to rotate the engine? Can I use a socket on the pinion nut?

Yeah, just put her in neutral and turn the pinion nut with the plugs out.
Just don't put any load on the pinion side. It can throw your wheels out of true.
