New guy
Hello, I recently became an ironhead owner.
Since I acquired my ironhead I've gotten a lot of useful information related to problems and solutions from this website. Big thanks to all the ironhead homies that post on this site, good info here for sure.
My Ironhead is a 1981 sportster XLH 1000 with 30k and I picked her up for 1,500
in the NJ area

Howdy and welcome. Good pick on the year in my personal opinion. Runs a oil cooler to.
Grinned about the battery tie down. Wonder about the motor numbers though. But I guess they changed how they did it vs my 1980 engine VIN.
Edit: Oil filter setup is the same as my 1980 though.
