The bike came with drag pipes with no baffles. Although it sounded great, it also attracted attention from neighbours in about half a mile radius. I bought a couple of slipons similar to the originals but 3 inches shorter. I also bought a couple of 4" baffles to go in the pipes before the silencer. These proved to be unnecessary. The silencers are 2 1/4 inches whilst the drag pipes were 1 3/4 inches. I found that the standard hanger(bracket) had 1/4 spacers between it and the frame. By removing these spacers the silencers were aligned with the pipes and also sat nicely against the bike. The exhaust note is now reduced and I have happy neighbours. In a way it didn't matter anyway as they only speak French and I only speak English. However, they no longer put their hands over their ears when I start her I must admit I miss the drag pipes.

Khromewerks slip-ons
3" Khromewerks slash-cut slip-ons. Drag Specialties 3" baffle. stock head pipes with heat shields. With the re-jet and S & S stealth air cleaner it's loud enough and runs very cool.

I run open drags-my hearing is shot anyway and it helps just a little ruining people's concentration texting.
I also get the mid-range flats
My '03 has supertrapp do-alls, I want to go to 20 discs soon as I weld up the inside brkt on one of the pipes
