Finally got a chance to ride this morning. Ride feels a bit smoother on freeway, rode over a couple harsh transition spots on 101 and crossed some railroad tracks a few times. Much better response for sure and seem to be a definite improvement over stock, no "bucking" sensation. No signs of topping out or bottoming, so I'm going to leave the preload alone.
I'd say they perform as hoped for at the price point.

If you get a chance measure the bike only sag and the rider on sag. It would be helpful for the discussion we've had here.

I measured eye to eye both shocks, while on jiffy stand, both sides measure 13". Should I put it on lift to check bike sag?

There are three numbers you need:
Shock, fully extended, eye to eye length.
Bike only, standing vertical.
Bike with rider on, feet on pegs, bike vertical.
I recruit my neighbor to do the measuring for me.
Bike only, standing vertical, is easiest. I just stand straddling the bike to hold it vertical while my helper measures the shock eye to eye length.
Rider on is more difficult. I sit on the bike in my garage door opening. Feet on the pegs, holding onto the garage door track to stay upright, bike in gear so it doesn't want to roll. Again with a helper to measure the shock eye to eye length.
The two values , sag and rider on sag, are useful because you want your rider on sag (ride height) to strike a balance between bottoming and topping. And the two give a reference about spring rates.
Frequently it's easier to measure spring collar to spring collar. The sag and rider on sag numbers will be the same.
