With the prices Harley has now I can see why people aren't buying them and looking elsewhere.

It's a real shame.
After my first 15 years of riding I bought my first Harley in 2006, a brand new 883 Sportster.
At that moment I fell in love with Harleys.
Now there's nothing on the showroom I like, and even if there was something I liked these current prices aren't even close to what I would pay.
Harley-Davidson has lost me as a customer.

If the Ironhead is no more, then why are there so many active threads about Ironheads? There will be lots of XL Sportsters around for a long time. It was (and still is) the best bike Hardley-Ableson made.

Here's the complete kit:

Two shocks, four "tophat" spacers, four other spacers, spanner, instructions, and grease for preload cam.

Yes, about 9O% of ICE motorcycles in China are 125cc. I only have direct experience in China but probably similar for most of south east Asia and India. That accounts for a lot of the worlds motorcycles. Oh, in China if you include electric bikes in the motorcycle category, then they might have more electric than ICE. And in China electric bikes don’t look like fat tired pedal bikes with battery assist like we see in N America. They look like a Vespas, so really more like motorcycles than bicycles.

I used to travel to Japan regularly, in a previous life. I was amazed to see how many motorcycles over there have mini-trail motors. They're 49.44cc, which is apparently just under a key motorcycle licensing threshold of 50cc.

Like many countries in Asia, they have a graduated licensing system based on displacement, with increasingly difficult licensing requirements as the displacement goes up. Under 50cc is the entry level in Japan, hence the popularity of full-size bikes with mini trail motors.
