Default Throttle Body loose

I looked through here and couldnt find anything really on my problem so here it goes. Ive been having some backfire issues on my 09 sportster that are happening at the throttle body. I suspected that my tune was bad because well...it is (never go to a sport bike tuner for your Harley, end of story). Well its gotten worse so i looked and my throttle body is loose from the intake. I can find any bolts or screws that connect the 2 and a buddy of mine says theres a rubber gasket that goes in there to seal it and the bracket that connects to the valve covers holds the throttle body in place. Does anyone have a parts diagram on this or can tell me how to tighten it up. Its definitely backfiring because i can see the black where its not sealed. Someone please help...BTW its an 09 883L that has had the 1250 kit installed.

I have the same 2 screws missing (the ones that mount the throttle body to the intake manifold). Local stealer doesn't have the $20 kit which consists of 2 screws and an o-ring. Do you happen to know the size of these screws so I can pick them up at True Value?

So I have the same problem. I can pull the throttle body and I can get the screws at the hardware store but I have no idea what size the O-ring is. Anyone here have any ideas?

I’m having the same problem. One of the screws backed out of mine and is gone. I need to find out where I can get the two screws and a new oh ring or a gasket anyone have any ideas? Is there a kit for this? Just go to Harley? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Looking at Ronnie's Parts Finder, shows PN 27700-07 for the kit I believe you are referencing. You should be able to purchase that at your local Harley dealership, or any of the online sources (Ronnies, New Castle, Surdyke, etc). They seem to be selling for ~$20 (figure $25 with shipping or tax). Seems a bit pricey for a couple screws and an oring...but sometimes the convenience is worth it.
