Default New pads. caliper pot distance.?

Just fitted new pads. The discs are 0.3mm under spec but I would like to know how far the pots protrude from the calliper with new pads?

Anyone got a rough measurement?

Just put new pads in mine, and gaps about 1/8 inch. A bit hard to measure but maybe near enough?

really? so the gold part of the pot is only sticking out of the caliper 1/8 of an inch about 3mm?

i just had mine apart again because the cheap master cylinder rebuild kit i used failed and they measured at 10mm

The gold part being the piston yes? Then yes, about 3mm. And that's the front caliper.
The rear gap is about 5-6mm. Both with brand new EBC HH pads.
You could always measure the empty gap with the piston pushed right home, measure the disc with both pad thickness's added and that will give you the amount of piston showing.
