Seems like my 1200 Low is not a common model. And it is the '06 model with the white, black, and orange paint. I can't wait to get it repainted a solid color.

very happy with my new to me roadster, dual discs! but the little tank compared to the custom? and if I want a bigger tank I'll need to change the seat? come on man....

I have the opposite problem. I have a 2006 1200L, with the really wide 4.5 gallon tank. I love the range, but not the look. I would love to put a peanut tank on it, but pre rubber mount tanks won't fit, and a tank from something like an Iron (which would have to be repainted of course) is designed for EFI, with an internal fuel pump, and there is no way to put a petcock on it. There are custom aftermarket tanks, but they are made in China junk. I found that Harley parts are not as interchangeable as I once thought.

It’s no big deal to tuck the nose of your seat in a bit, not necessary to replace it. Take a look you’ll see what I mean.

You are mistaken, an EFI tank CAN be converted to work with a carb...
