Wow! After following your plan (?) since December of 09,
all that comes to mind is, "Too Dumb to Quit".
Seriously I think all of us are impressed with your ingenuity, skill and perseverance.
Now keep it running for us.
Oh by the way, Wanna race?

still waiting for a weekend with no rain in the forcast to get a temporary permit to take it for a road test.
I can find things to do though while I wait. I didn't like how the muffler hanger bracket lined up with the rear wheel sprocket. If the bike fell over on its right side the ground would push the muffler inward which would jam one of the muffler mount T-bolts right into a sprocket tooth. I seem to have lost the photo, but here it is adjusted with now the T-bolt bracket sitting under the muffler and not in danger of catching in the sprocket teeth:
It also means that now the muffler sits in tighter to the rear wheel, it was sticking too far outboard before. But rotating the t-bolt hanger down towards the bottom makes the muffler look goofy. I will cut out the t-bolt bracket and get it rewelded in the right place so the muffler can orient in the right direction. IN the meantime, its like this:
And while we where in our sub-zero freeze I stayed in and made a wiring diagram with lines the same colour as the wires:
