Default Problem with my 1998 1200S

Still have a problem with the race bike. 1998 1200S

It ran great at last BG race.Got it home and it set for a few weeks before I messed with it again.When I got it out for a ride it started like normal but soon as I got going it started cutting out.Plugs look good not black or white but nice light tan. Seems to be popping back through exhaust and has a strange smell.

So far checked jets and they were clean.(going to pull carb and take it apart next) Then swapped out Ignition module with my stock one.Still the same thing.Next I pulled fuel filter and it was trashed.Had to clean and relined gas tank (used POR-15 HD kit) and put in new filter.

Next I am going to pull carb and check it out again.

Anyone have more ideas?
Remember these 1200S have factory single fire and dual plugs

A thorough cleaning of every fuel (and air) passage in the carb is very important, especially when compromised fuel has been introduced...

Found problem.It was my stupidity that I didnt find it sooner.turned out to be a 6in vac line going to the petcock had a split in it.
