i would time it off of the dot (from quick read of Twin tec inst). The one plug sparking issue is not related to being out of time. They should both spark when kicked over, timing just puts it at the precise moment. Do you have a single fire coil? How many wire terminals (not spark plug wires) are on your coil? I would suggest posting a pic of the unit in your nose cone and the business end of your coil connections. What shape are your plug wires in? I think it has been asked in your other post, but switch your plug wires at the coil and see if the non sparking issue follows along with the previous non sparking plug. Sounds like your real close, try to get the elec working with a few simple steps, points will work but elec has its advantages.

Yeah when I get home from work I'll post sum pics..i have 3 terminals on the coil..my plug wires are new...nothing changed when I switched the wires around still get one spark..i got a new points kit that I could install which maybs I'll do to het me going then in the winter deal w the Elec ign..IDK..
