I find that it looks too contrived! Maybe if some parts fell off and it looked less heavy??? I don't know it just looks wrong. Almost like a car designer tried his hand with a motorcycle.

While I do like the looks and design of the engine, I have never been a fan of the oversized fenders (on any bike). Not my style, but I do appreciate the technology and design that has gone into the engine.

BTW: Voted not interested.

The styling is hideous, IMO.
Reminds me of a moose, put together by 8 different committees.

I'm not so sure. Perhaps it actually needs more parts, like a hood for the engine.

I am not put off by water cooling. With regards to the Scout, I thought maybe the engine would grow on me, NOT. But what really turned me off was the size of the gas tank. Even though I miss the view of the engine while sitting on a Sportster that has a peanut tank, I appreciate the range provided by the larger tank. I don't want to have to stop every 80-100 miles to top off. If I wanted something in the shop to compliment, not replace, the Sportster I would have to look at BMW or MotoGuzzi.

I like it! I'd ride the chit out of it!

Also want a Royal Enfield Continental GT.

Ok, I want one of everything!

I must admit that my first impression of the '15 Scout wasn't too good, but it began to grow on me quickly. One was brought to the local Indian dealer just for looking at--no test rides on that one. I went to check it out and sat on it...nearly threw it on its right side hefting it off the side stand because I put the effort into upping it that I would use on my Sportster. I liked that. A few days later the Scout was available for test rides, and I went to ride it. In short, it was a blast. That low center of gravity definitely makes the bike a pleasure to ride; the engine really delivers when the throttle is twisted and the transmission is silky. Loved the bike. I can definitely see one beside my Sportster out in the garage.

However, I got an unexpected surprise when I went back to the dealer about a month ago to see the Polaris Slngshot. I noticed a Victory Gunner on the showroom floor. I never expected a Vic to seize my attention, but the Gunner did. I couldn't understand the attraction at first, but I think the Gunner reminds me of a Sportster on steroids. Whatever the attraction is, I find that I'd like to have a Gunner out in the garage, too.

Oh, and the Slingshot could also find a spot in the garage.
