Okay, I see it, it's there. But, pretty damn rusty, glad I don't have to deal with it for anything at this point.

Thanks so much for all the replies. I’ve grounded the headlight to a threaded hole my horn was mounted to, on the front left side of the backbone, and I am going to use the rear brake light switch mounting lug and possibly the oil tank mounts, if I need more than one grounding point.
I was also mistaking the regulator power wire for a ground, as it was just a black wire with a ring terminal on the end.
