You may need to source a thinner washer.

Typically there is enough room for the original hardware, including the circlip, not real sure why you don't have enough.

Doesn't fit even with no washer. Stock axle so I don't know why either.

Well, no thinner washers, did find a thinner nut but it's 18-8 stainless, not grade 8 which would have been greatly preferred. Had to order it so won't be here until tomorrow.

Really surprised that this thing didn't fit properly. Won't fit any 09 Sportster as the axles are all the same.
