MAP Request-TC88A
After too many years of having dealerships do all my work I have decided to start learning how to take care of my favorite bike myself; sort of have to, the local dealership has ruined the bike.
2006 XL1200R Stage 1 air cleaner and slip ons
S&S 482 Cam
CV40 carb; I am rebuilding with CVPerformance kit
Newly installed TC88A ignition and I have the USB cable
I just want my Sportster back
This looks like the place with the people who can help.

Thanks. I have been lurking long enough to be pretty confident you would respond. Daytona Twin Tech set it to match my speedometer but I know I need a good sportster MAP to make it right. I will PM you my email.

You’ll be in good hands with George, in spite of what the rest of the forum says!

TC88 unit is a good one. Got one on my Wife's 04 1200 Custom. You might want to go over the settings and compare it to the instructions. It is a Big Twin ignition that has a slower advance rate the a Sportster. Have not experimented with the Wife's 04, she says "it's fast enough, leave it alone." Might be able to get it dialed in better by going to a more aggressive advance curve that comes in around 2500 rpm.
