You sure there was not a bad connection there?

Looking forward to plenty of updates and pics with this project.
You already have one mean looking machine, Just love the tins, forks, Damn I just love the look of the complete bike.

Any chance of pre & post dyno result charts?

My last dyno chart was 82/82 with the SE 536 cams. I will go have a dynotune done when I have it broken in. I know that a bad tune will end my engines life really early so the tune is important. I have the engine cmpletely apart now and I will have my polished cylinders on tomorrow afternoon. I was having a tough time getting the rings compressd enough with my fingertips on my front cylinder so I will put the piston in the cylinder first then connect them to the rods. I learned that my clearancing on my rocker boxes was not quite enough. There a slight dent from the spring hitting on the exhaust side both front and rear. I took some pics of my progress that I will post tomorrow.

Cylinders and heads are on. Here is what the polishd bases look like. I should have polished the edges on the head too but it is too much work to do right now with my car and this going at the same time.

This is what JET head intakes look like. I will eventualy take a pic of the exhaust port so you can see how it is built up. I don't know if it does as much as one would hope(rather have xb nhrs heads) but it is what I have and I will ventually get XB heads again(had some ported them and sold).

I am going out to take out my 536 cams today. I have to choose if I am going with the black cut cover or the chrome covers I have.

This is a thread I'll surely follow. Great for you (and us !) that you started the turbo-adventure, Ralph.
Now please do us a favor and make it a excellent write-up with tons of pics as well

Good luck, it will be one fast bike !!!

Well, the stock cams are back in and tonight I will have a set of SE536's for sale on ebay. I know that ebay is the best way to determine the value of my parts. Anyway, Here is a pic of what I usually do with cams. I line them up before I start so it does not take forever to get the new ones lined up again. Now I have to decide if I want the NHRS pushrod tube bases. I have always hated the ones on my bike Iand I think I need to buy them to make my bike just a little prettier. I hope they are functional as well but I suspect they would not make them if they did nothing.

Just ordered a set of these babies as well. I am tired of my pushrod tubes leaking. NRHS makes some pretty products that are functional. Anyone else using these?
