Gentlemen,

I have a question about intake manifolds.

I just purchased a billet intake manifold from Hammer for my build. Ill be hanging a Mikuni 42mm in front of it.

Does mirror polishing the interior of the manifold tunnel to a chrome like shine add anything to the performance of the unit?

Is there any polishing to do on the carbs tunnel?

I have only managed to put 150 miles on a fresh hammer 1275 kit. But will install the chikuni after 500 miles. Been having health issues and going all over the county for tests because it appears my health insurance carrier doesn't have a globe. In fact I have to get a cat scan tomorrow which seems odd to me because I don't even have a cat, just three old dogs.

I'd contact Hammer for those questions. If anyone has data on those issues, they should. Especially the manifold. Good luck.
