I was out riding again - On the road by 8am to avoid the heat (& thunderstorms) of the afternoon sun.

I did encounter a few drizzly minutes of riding while in the mountain area.

During my ride I visited the King's Gap Environmental Center. It has a great view over the Cumberland Valley.

It was a great day to enjoy my KooL Therapy!

Default Riding....

Happy for you Ken, but I’ve been immersed in bathroom rebuild for what seems forever. I’ll make up for it shortly but will enjoy your roadwork until then. Thank you!

Glad to have you along - I was riding again today with my brother - It was a great day to be in the wind.

I planned to visit 3 more covered bridges - Here's one of them:

Along the way, we happened upon this backyard display of auto art - You just never know what you'll see:

And here's a picture of me riding west on Rt17 - Throwing my arms up in total immersion, to be absorbed into the surrounding beauty:

(Lest you think I was using a very long selfie stick, this pic was from my brother's video camera.)

Beautiful scenery.
I have a friend who has a 'boneyard' full of old Chevy's.
He and some others have had their cars shown in movies.
I just melt when I walk the boneyard seeing all the potential masterpieces sitting there.
Just like in your pic, all I see needed is some paint, tires and a tank of gas.

Thanks again Ken, just popped in on your Chronicles, always brings a smile to my face. Thinking I need to make a run East and touch bases with some of my “extended family” a ride with you and your brother would be great!

Hey Paul - If you make it this way, just send me a heads up and you can place an order for the kind of places you want to visit. If you want, you can pick from what you've seen in my pics and we'll plan a ride to make it happen.

Here's the North Oriental Covered Bridge taken from my video footage when we visited there on our most recent ride. My brother is riding his 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD.
