I keep ethanol away from any vessel or vehicle i own, it really does horrible shit to fuel systems. The entire system has to be rated ( ha! ) for alcohol and the water it copiously attracts.

I do have a Kia that is treated like a red headed step child, and the algae/mold around the fuel cap is a marker when i feed it slop...hell no..Blended fuel is verboten on anything i care about. Filter is looks like ass, O-rings are short lived nope, on flex fuel.

super has 95 octane and the premium has 98 or 102 octane.

You must be outside the US.

Your "Super" is similar "Octane" to our "premium Grade" 91 AKI (R+M)/2
(Some US areas get 93 AKI premium, close to your 98 RON)

Our gasoline is rated with AKI (Anti Knock Index).

Most of the rest of world uses the RON (Research Octane Number)

Back in 2002 the HD octane ratings in the Owner;s manual was"

For all Sportster models (except XL Sport), use regular 87 (91 RON) pump octane (R + M)/2.
For XL Sport models, use at least 91 (95 RON)pump octane (R + M)/2

HD suggests these octane ratings for the 2007+ EFI Sportsters-
